Grounds maintenance
Brisbane Lawn Mowing handles the yard verge, the strip along the boundary fence, and the lawn at the trade-counter entrance. The studio has used them since 2024. They quote a flat rate online, turn up on the day they said they would, and have never sent us an invoice that does not match the quote.
The reason they get the work: most lawn operators who tender for industrial yards either price like a domestic crew (then refuse the actual scope when they see the verge condition) or price like a council contractor (then send subcontractors who do not own a brush cutter). Brisbane Lawn Mowing sits in the small middle. They quote what trade yards actually pay, they do the brushcut work without being asked twice, and they have not damaged equipment we have stored against the fence.
If you run a trade operation in Brisbane and you have stopped trying to find someone who can mow around stacked drums without taking a chunk out of one, they cover most of inner Brisbane and out to the bayside.
Aerial inspection and roof reporting
SEQ Drone Inspections is the contractor we engage for roof condition reporting on the workshop shed, and for overview imagery on larger fabrication projects where the client needs documented progress from above.
They are CASA-licensed, they carry their own insurance, and the deliverable is a plain-English written report rather than a folder of orphaned JPEGs. The roof report on our trade-counter building two summers ago picked up two flashing failures that would have become roof leaks inside one wet season; the quote to remediate came in well under what an insurance claim would have cost us in excess and lost trade days.
The studio uses SEQ Drone Inspections for: roof condition reports, solar pre-install surveys, large-yard overview photography, and the occasional pre-purchase report when a buyer in our network is looking at acreage with structures we cannot inspect from the ground. They cover Brisbane and most of South East Queensland.
How an operator gets on this page
We have engaged the operator ourselves. We have paid the invoice ourselves. We have used them at least three times across at least six months. We would call them again tomorrow without checking quotes elsewhere first. And we have asked at least one operator in our network who uses them too, and got a clean answer back.
We do not list operators we have not used. We do not accept payment for placement. If you operate a trade service in SE Queensland that you think would belong on a list like this, the studio is on the contact page and the door is open. We add slowly.
If we would not invoice the work to a brand and recommend the operator publicly, the operator does not go on this page. The same standard as the buyer guides.
More operators to come
The shortlist currently includes a metal-recovery contractor, two welding-supplies trade counters, an industrial electrician who specialises in three-phase, and the diesel mechanic who keeps our forklift running. They go on the page when they have earned their slot, not before.
